Idaho is definitely a rugged, beautiful and unpredictable place. My friend Tracy Lee and I worked hard and covered a ton of ground last week for a few pics and some great hangtime!. We hit some amazing hot springs and woke up in the car to snow on the ground just hours after snagging this picture. Mother nature wasn't trying to cooperate at all but we made the very best of it! Keeping fingers crossed for clear skies! This is a shot of a very bright Jupiter and Antares, the seeing wasn't the best so the stars look kind of fuzzy too!
The mind blowing Hercules Cluster. I captured this from my driveway in Boise. If you look towards the right border you’ll see a Galaxy all on its own that is know as NGC6207 it’s probably one of my favorite parts of the image. Also at the 4oclock position is a tiny lil Galaxy called IC4617 can you see that one? Messier 13 (M13), also designated NGC 6205 and sometimes called the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules or the Hercules Globular Cluster, is a globular cluster of several hundred thousand stars in the constellation of Hercules
